The FANUC ARC Mate 50iC/5L robotic welding cell is a compact, six-axis automation system designed for precise, high-speed welding, cutting, and small-part manufacturing applications. Its modular, electric servo-driven construction delivers the accurate and consistent path control required for repeatable weld quality.
The ARC Mate 50iC/5L features a slim profile, fast axis speeds, and an extended 892 mm reach, making it particularly suitable for welding smaller components in confined work areas. Its compact design also allows manufacturers, integrators, training facilities, and research laboratories to add robotic welding capability without requiring the floor space of a larger production cell.
This system is equipped with a FANUC R-30iA Mate controller and FANUC ArcTool software. ArcTool provides welding-specific programming functions that help simplify setup, weld schedule control, torch movement, and communication with compatible welding equipment. Together, the robot and controller provide dependable performance for precision welding, process development, prototyping, and technical training.
The system also includes a Lincoln Electric Power Wave R350 welding power source, Cool Arc 40 water cooler, PLC controls, and vision-related equipment. The final welding process and application will depend on the installed torch, feeder, gas controls, tooling, fixtures, and software configuration.
Typical applications include:
