Overview

For automated soldering, welding, and plasma soldering applications, the Arc Mate 120ib/10L is made. The long-range robot of the very famous FANUC Arc Mate 120ib is the long-arm version. The flexibility and durability of this robot are used in many arc welding scenarios. The FANUC 120ib/10L consists of six-axis servo-driven industrial robots. The R-J3IB, R-J3IC, and R-30ia control are fitted with the FANUC Robot AM 120ib 10L. The 120ib/10L is suitable for many different welding scenarios with the ability to perform MIG and TIG welding or plasma welding applications.

This used robot is the predecessor of the famous 120ic/10L FANUC Arc Mate. Similar to ABB IRB 2600-12, Motoman HP20-6 and the KUKA KR 16 are the Arcmate Robot’s scope and payload. If your program needs to be extended, you can either use the FANUC Arc Mate 120ic/10L or the FANUC M-710ic/20L. If a longer reach isn’t required, FANUC Arc Mate 100ib is a good economical substitute for that robot. The R-J3IB variant of this robot arm has a mechanical unit number A05B-1216-B301. The R-J3IC/R-30ia variant of this robot arm has the mechanical unit number A05B-1216-B501. Lincoln Powerwave 455M, Lincoln Powerwave i400, and the Fronius CMT 4000 are common solder supplies built into this robot.
